Kpedze Senior High School Inaugurates Reconstituted Board of Governors

Kpedze Senior High School has inaugurated a reconstituted Board of Governors to steer the affairs of the institution and provide strategic direction for its development. The ceremony, held at the school’s dining hall, drew staff, students, traditional authorities, and education stakeholders.
In his address, Togbe Atsridom V, Paramount Chief of Kpedze Traditional Area, urged the new board to work hand in hand with traditional authorities to secure the future of the school.
'' The strenth strength of this institution will rest on unity, hardwork, peace and collaboration. When the board, the school and the traditional authority move together, there is no challenge we cannot overcome.This will help the school to achieve academic excellence and holistic training'',Togbe stated.
The Ho West District Director of Education, Mrs. Paulina Syln Eworde Gobe, commended the board members for accepting the responsibility. She highlighted the importance of strong leadership and collective effort in raising academic standards and improving infrastructure at the school.
The reconstituted board, made up of representatives from the Ghana Education Service, traditional leaders, the Parent-Teacher Association, the Old Students’ Association, and other appointed members, will serve as the highest policy-making body of the school.
The new members were officially sworn in by Rev. Fr. Sebastian Eli Tsedzah, Parish Priest of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Kpedze.
Responding on behalf of the board, Madam Enyonam Afi Amafoga, former Volta Regional Director of Education and newly appointed Board Chairperson, pledged to work tirelessly with her colleagues to advance the vision and mission of the school.
Established in 1962, Kpedze Senior High School has been a key contributor to human resource development in the Volta Region and beyond. The inauguration of the new board is seen as a vital step in strengthening the school’s foundations for future growth.
